If you are a teacher, I’m sure you are a very busy bee all through-out the school year. Aren’t we all are? 🙂
In one of the teacher trainings I’ve attended before, I learned that you gotta stop when you need to stop. Otherwise, stress and extreme emotions will start creeping in. Yikes. You don’t like that right? So have yourself recharged! Refill your love tank until its overflowing again. 🙂
My way of refilling my love tank is traveling. It was so timely this year that I was able to go to Boracay for a short escapade. Yay! Although, Boracay island never really sounds inviting to me. I always feel like its crowded and not peaceful. But then, I ate all my words. Haha! Its not what I expected it to be. It is indeed a beautiful island.
Its not that crowded naman pala. Proof? I can count on my fingers the people who were sun bathing. Hee!
When you stay in Boracay, one of the factors that you should consider is your choice of hotel. We were so blessed that our hotel was so excellent in every way. From D*Mall (Boracay proper) to the hotel transfer all the way down to the room service, they provided the best courtesy. We stayed at Fairways and Bluewater Newcoast, Boracay. The hotel was soooo big. To give you a picture, we need to travel by car if we want to go to another villa or to go to one of their pools, or just going to the comfort room! (Haha! I was exaggerating in the last part. Hehe!) You can check their Facebook account here.
When we arrived at the hotel to check in, this view welcomed us. All the travel pagod gone! My gulaaaaay 🙂 🙂 🙂
This is I think our neighboring villa. Haha! Wasn’t able to take a photo of our own villa cause I was too occupied by the beauty of it. Haha! My lame excuses. Forgive me. 😛
If you’re like me who preferred the pool rather than the ocean, this hotel is the perfect match for you!
We were able to visit 4 pools of Fairways. Two of them were part of what they called “infinity pool.”
This one’s my favorite though. I think I spent most of my time in this pool. Hihi! 😀
But if you’re a beach lover, no worries! The hotel has its own fair share of the beach as well. Must be the perfect hotel huh? 🙂
I enjoyed getting all these shells but they never got the chance to arrive in Manila.. hahahuhu! 🙂 😦
The Boracay white sand seems to be a perfect match to my pink lacoste! ❤
..and my travel buddies enjoyed the company of the white sand too!
And if you think that’s the best already, wait until you see the Boracay proper. Bora proper is really the part of the island where all the yummy restaurants and all the “wild, adventurous” activities happen. I’ll give you a preview of it. 😉
The seafoods are the way to start! OH MYYYYY (drool all the waaaay..)
But of course, knowing thyself, on my first day at Bora, I ordered “sinigang” from one of the local food restaurants there.
The famous Jonah’s Fruitshake and Snackbar 😀
Body Massage night. (Ryan, Me, & Christine) L-R We’re with our friend, Richard too! 🙂
And then here goes all the pasalubong venture..
The way back home was equally satisfying. 🙂
Traveling is my personal perspective of holy Sabbath. I love how this verse from Mark 2:27 describes Sabbath for men.
“Then he said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, NOT man for the Sabbath.””
So when you travel, Sabbath pays respect to you since its a privilege given by our God. Go and travel the world! Just make sure you go around the Philippines first. Heehee!
Next stop? Coming soon! 😀
